Cyborg was sitting in the middle of the forest, just like mother nature created him and was trying desperately to weave something that at the very least would resemble a skirt. Not even pants, but at least something to cover himself. And weaving wasn’t all that easy.

“How do kids of third world do it?” he muttered to himself. He imagined they had much smaller and more agile fingers, but still, it was beyond him. He threw the rambler to his side, giving up. “Screw this” he whispered exasperated. He’ll be walking around in his birth suit, nothing to be ashamed of. He was so absorbed with the weaving and then with his thoughts on nudity that he didn’t notice the night has fallen. Suddenly he felt something sharp impact him and cut the skin on his right arm.

“OW!” he exclaimed and looked at his arm. There was an arrow simply protruding from his muscle. Cyborg looked up, when the next arrow missed his face. He saw… “Minecraft’s skeleton?” he said astonished. “I’m in Minecraft?!”
Another arrow swooshed somewhere near his ear. All right, he’s had enough. He stood up and went to the skeleton. He discarded it’s head from the remaining bones. “Ha! And what do you say ‘bout that?” An arrow missed his leg by inches. “Oh, you little bastard!” He quickly took out the arrow that was stuck in his arm and with the skeleton’s head under his arm he started chasing the monster into the woods with a war cry on his lips. He quickly caught up with the incomplete skeleton and discarded all of its bones. Thus he ended up having a bow, a few arrows and a pile of bones.

“Booyah!” he yelled and picked his trophy up. He then sighed. “At least I can hunt down some food with this.” He began to get worried about himself. He was talking to himself, and it was never a good sign. He shook his head and turned back to his previous place but was met with two huge black eyes staring straight at him. Creeper.
“Oh crap” Cyborg uttered and started to run in a random direction, muttering “Don’t wanna die like this” over and over again. Creeper was close behind him.

Meanwhile in some other part of the Minecraft world Robin was trying to get his communicator to work. Shortly after ending his conversation with Beast Boy and Raven he wanted to contact anyone of the Titans, Bumblebee at least and ask them to take care of Jump City, but to no avail. When he tried to contact anyone, the communicator wouldn’t work. Neither his, nor Starfire’s. Both were out of reach. Starfire managed to convince him to try and find some shelter, because she was just frozen to the bone right now. Now they were sitting in some suspect mine, with no fire, both freezing and Robin was on the edge of his nerves, trying to regain the reach by rummaging in his communicator with his tools.

“Freaking piece of crap!” he cursed for, like seemed to be, a hundredth time, and Starfire sniffed. She was sitting close to him, watching his efforts to restore contact. She was hugging her knees, and looked miserably.

“Boyfriend Robin, I believe you should leave your communicator at peace and try to…”

“Not now Star, really. I’m not in the mood.” She huffed quietly at that.

“I was merely suggesting that perhaps there is nothing you can do to restore our reach. Maybe all we need to do is wait for the storm of snow to stop and…”

“We don’t have time to waste, Star. For all we know the city may be falling apart while we just sit around doing nothing. I can’t let that happen, I have to make sure the city is safe. Or at least that someone will take care of it for us until we can get out of here.”

~...~
Well, I kinda like his attitude.
yeah ol paps Batman would be proud, but look at Star
        Well, priorities, man.
your gf should always be the priority, he didn't even want to find the shelter...
gf is one individual, he rather care about the whole city. and it's logical, they're heroes.
~...~

She nodded in understanding and just let it go. She knew he won’t give up on this and she would respect that. A cold wind crept into their cave and Starfire shivered, holding her knees tighter and started to clang her teeth. Robin glanced up at her. She looked like something the cat had dragged in. His heart sank. How could he just let her be and not take care of her? Sure, she could be tough, but she still was a fragile flower, especially now, without her powers and with little hope to get out of this state. He saw her tremble against the cold wind. Now completely curly hair was falling onto her face and in the dim light of his tiny flashlight it made her look like an angel that had just fallen from the heavens. A terrified, lonely creature, waiting for God to remember about her. Of course, he would never tell her that, that sounded too sappy even in his head. But he got an idea.

“Come here, Star” he said tenderly. When she glanced up at him, he was outstretching his right arm to her as if inviting her to get a hug he had for her. She smiled a small, un-Starfire-like smile, a ghost of a smile, really, and went to him. She sat in front of him and leaned her back to his warm chest. He then did something she had never seen him do ever before. He took all of her hair and swaddled it around their necks. When she turned her head to try and look at him, he explained.

“We don’t want to catch a cold, do we?” he said and she could almost hear the gentle smile on his face. She shook her head carefully. He never touched her hair, at least not for so long and not with such care. He used to just pat her on her head when she happened to make a mistake or sometimes when they kissed he would touch her hair, but he never did something that resembled playing with it.

Only now he realized how long her hair was. It wasn’t reaching half her back or her hips, no. It was much, much longer now. It was probably reaching somewhere to her knees. And that's with the curls shortening it. He wondered how much faster did Tamaranean’s hair grew than a human’s. When he finished wrapping them in the fiery cocoon he took off his cape and put it on her chest and stomach and before she could say anything he gave her a caring kiss to the top of her head.

“I’ll try to keep you warm” he promised in a whisper. She nodded in response. He reached to his almost forgotten work on the stone and rummaged a little more with his communicator. Starfire finally felt a little warmer and started to doze off when she heard him say her name. She muttered encouragement.

“You look even prettier with curly hair” he said, nothing above a whisper, maybe even quieter. That was the last sparkle Starfire needed to warm her heart up.

“Marvelous” she babbled and dozed off completely.

When she woke up again the moon was setting, but the snowstorm remained the same. She found herself no longer scooped in Robin’s arms. Instead she was lying next to him with her head and left hand on his chest. She looked around. Robin’s communicator was in one piece and lying peacefully on the rock he was previously working on. Actually, you couldn’t really call it a rock, it was perfectly square. But Robin explained to her that this was the trait of the game they were stuck in. Everything was square, big pixels made of small pixels. What a weird game. Robin moved next to her, obviously awaken from the cold that crept onto the place she has been lying on.

“Hey Star” he smiled. “Is it day yet?” Starfire shook her head no. Robin sighed and rose up on his elbows. “I see it’s still snowing. Weird. It’s too long as for Minecraft.”

“Isn’t this the Craft of Mine that the Control Freak had invented?” Starfire asked. “Perhaps it is adequately long for the snow storm to last in his Craft of Mine.”

“Maybe” he answered and was quiet for a short while. Suddenly he spoke up again, with some new energy in his voice. “Hey, good news. I managed to text to Bee and tell her to send someone to Jump. She texted back that she’d take care of it.”

“It is indeed the good news” Starfire smiled, but again, it wasn’t a smile she always smiled. It was dimmed as if someone had put a shadow on her face. Robin glanced at his girlfriend and she looked at him. He had no idea what to say to make her feel better. How do you comfort a person who lost a very important part of their being?

“The day will start soon” he stated lamely instead.

“Yes.” Silence overcame them both. “We may go now if you wish to, Robin.”

“Nah. We should probably wait a little after the sun goes up so the monsters would burn.” Now, normally Starfire would ask about the burning part. But she didn’t. She was somewhere far away, and Robin knew there’s probably no turning back. “Do you want to catch some more zees?” he offered.

“No. I do not want us to miss the sun rising.” She knew he’d be angry if they did.

“Ok. Uh… what do you want to do then?” he asked. There was really not much to do. Unless finding some food, but it had to wait till sunrise too. Nonetheless Starfire turned her head on her boyfriend with a small smile.

“I think I know an adequate activity.”

“Really? What is it?” he asked astonished. She leaned down to him and gave him the most loving and passionate kiss she could afford now.

When he still felt perplexed underneath her she put her hand on his torso and began undoing his shirt.

“Oh!” he said, interrupting their kissing. “This activity!” Starfire’s smile widened as Robin’s face matched his red shirt.

Raven was abruptly woken up by the noise. It wasn’t really familiar noise, but annoying nonetheless. She looked around and last night came back to her. The cutting of trees with their hands only, climbing them on the very top, jumping on them, running from the skeletons and zombies, building a house… Okay, it couldn’t be called a house. They were just four walls of pixel wood from the trees they’ve cut. She remembered Beast Boy laughing at her for screaming from fear. It wasn’t her fault, god damn it, the spider was huge, disgusting and it jumped out of nowhere. It wasn’t like she was arachnophobic. She was just surprised. Stupid Beast Boy.
Then the noise pulled her out of her memories from last night. Beast Boy was sitting across from her, his head pulled back, mouth wide open… And the snore came out of his throat. Raven scowled.

“Beast Boy” she rasped out. Snore. She cleared her throat. “Beast Boy!” she said louder. Snore. “Beast Boy, you’re snoring” Snoooore. Oh for Azar’s love. Raven kicked him on the leg. He jumped up screaming that he’s awake. “And here I thought Cyborg was the major snorer in our team” she snickered.

“I don’t snore” he defended himself.

“Sure” she rolled her eyes. “And who woke me up with his loud snoring?”

“You snore.” She looked at him in disbelieve upon hearing this.

“Oh, stop it, you’re just being childish” she said. “Besides we need to get up, it’s day.”

An exasperated groan escaped Beastboy’s lips. “Five more minutes” he whined.

Raven pinched the bridge of her nose. “Azar, give me strength” she asked and then started to destroy their safe four walls. Starting from the one Beast Boy’s head was resting on.

“Hey! I was sleeping on that!”

“I’m sorry, but we have to go” she said not even glancing at him.

“Chill out, Raven, what’s the rush? Miss your powers that much?” he asked getting up and massaging his rear. Raven didn’t honor him with a reply. Silence was dragging between them like ages. “Besides who made you the boss?” he asked while Raven destroyed the last pixel wood and picked it up.

“Oh, I’m sorry” she said sarcastically. “I just assumed that someone with more than half of brain should take that job.” She started to look for the way to get off the stupid tree.

“You have no clue about the place you’re in” he accused.

“Well at least I have some common sense and I know I shouldn’t sleep in. I remember, powers or no powers, that I’m still a Titan on duty, I still have some important tasks to do, first one being finding the rest of the team, second being getting out of here and getting my powers back” she spoke.

“Uh-huh!” he exclaimed triumphantly. “So you admit you miss your powers!”

“I don’t miss my powers, but I’d gladly use them now to give you a lesson” she seethed.

They stared in each other’s angry eyes, brows furrowed, lips pressed into thin lines. Raven felt her neck hurt from looking up for so long.

“And when did you get taller than me?” she added after a while. Beast Boy’s eyes softened. He looked at her helplessly and honestly confused eyes and he had to stifle a laugh. He smiled nonetheless.

“Are you kidding me?” he asked. “Don’t tell me you never noticed it before?” Red stained her pale cheeks. Beast Boy snickered.

"I may have missed it, I weren't home for the past few months if you recall" Raven reminded him.

“Oh, I do remember" he admitted bitterly before regaining his energy again. "But I’ve had my growth spurt years ago! You know, started after Trigon.” She looked at him astonished. Not enough that her eyes were huge, she somehow managed to open them wider and seem even bigger. “You really didn’t notice, did you?” he smiled again, ready to burst out in another laughter. Her cheeks turned red again she turned her back on him.

~...~
who's Trigon?
well, looking at the two of them, him being almost 6ft tall and she's 5.2... she does look like a dwarf XD
she's not a dwarf unless she has to shave every morning ;P
        good one! :D
~...~

“How could I notice if you always only sleep until noon and then sit on the sofa playing those mind rotting video games?”

“Uh, you mean ‘How could I notice if I’m not really leaving my room’?”

“I meant what I said.”

“Are you pouting about being the shortest in the team now?” he asked and looked how adorably she started flailing with her cheeks all red and her brows furrowed and all the tiny adorableness she was showing him now, without even thinking of how it didn’t really match her image.

“I’m not pouting” she said as sternly as she could muster. “I just want to get off that stupid tree.”

“Actually, I was thinking about climbing a little higher and trying to see if there’s some snowy island nearby.”

“Oh Azar.” Raven sighed as she put her head on her open hand.

“What? I thought you wanted to find the rest. So I’m trying to find Rob and Star.”

“Nothing, it’s nothing.” She waved her hand on him. “Lead on.”

Her expression wasn’t the one that he’d like to see on her. She seemed troubled. “Rae, what’s wrong?” She muttered some response, but he couldn’t make it out. “What’d ya say?” He leaned down so he could hear her better. And he couldn’t believe what he made out.

“I don’t want to jump on trees.”

“What? Why not?" She muttered something unintelligible again. “Okay, Rae, you’ve got to speak up, I can’t hear you when you mumble like this.” He scolded her.

“Oh, nevermind.”

“No, tell me.” He insisted.

“I’m…” she hesitated. She glanced at him, and he nodded encouragingly at her. “I’m scared I’m going to fall.” Beast Boy blinked twice.

“Are you kidding me? Raven, you can fly on daily basis and you’re telling me you’re scared of heights?”

“I’m not scared of heights!” she denied quickly, mad at herself she dared to tell him something like that. “And did you forget I don’t have my powers right now? Besides, I levitate on daily basis, I don’t fly. Star flies, there’s a difference, just like there’s a difference between being afraid of the fall from heights and a fear from heights!”

“Do you hear yourself, Raven? Fear of heights is taken directly from the fear of falling from the heights!”

“Oh, you just don’t get it!” She jumped to another tree.

“Oh, but I do! And you know I’m right, and that’s what’s bothering you!” He followed her.

“I’m not talking to you!” she screamed through her shoulder.

“Oh, and maybe that’s not pouting?!” He didn’t hear her reply. She was being careful with her jumping and even walking on the minecrafty pixels for tree leaves. He watched her from a distance, then decided to catch up to her.

“You’re going the wrong way.”

His voice just behind her ear had startled her so much she jumped in place and let out a gasp. She almost fell off the tree, for she was on the very edge, preparing for another jump. Her right foot slipped from the pixel leaves and if not for Beast Boy’s quick reflex, she would be a stain on the ground. He held her extended arm firmly. Just as firmly as he held her on her waist. He pulled her to him and he smiled to her reassuringly.

“Got’cha.”

“You moron, I almost fell off because of you!” she smacked him at his chest.

“What? What did I do?” he laughed.

“You scared me, and I jumped, and…!”

“You just don’t get it, do you?” Hearing this she looked him in the eyes. “Even if you fall, I’ll always catch you.” He grinned disarmingly at her and she felt the blood rush to her face. She hated it when he told her such ambiguous things. It sounded as if he flirted with her. It wasn’t the first time. He would sometimes brush her flesh ever so slightly at dinner. He would flash her his Beast Boy-brand smiles when she entered the room. Or he would steal glances of her while he was playing some stupid game and she would read a book on the sofa. And she knew he thought she had no idea. But she had, and she knew what he was doing. He was messing with her. He was just testing her patience. He was playing with her, phunking with her heart. (at least taht's what she was telling herself, despite everyone telling her otherwise). And she couldn’t do anything about it. She was just blushing like a schoolgirl, staring at him with dreamy eyes, falling for every and each of his tricks. It started a while ago, then she left for the Trade, her for Speedy. She tried dating Aqualad that time. Then Beast Boy said he loved her... Well, he was drunk then, but he did. She only came back two weeks ago, while Gar was still seeing Rikki. She stopped seeing her abut a week ago. And then the flirting started all over again. What an ass he was. He’s got some nerve. To mess up with a half-demon girl’s feelings. And this time she had no clue if he meant it as a friend, or was he insinuating something else? Something more? He was sending her mixed signals, once complimenting her and flirting with her, the other denying everything and dating openly. It was to the point she didn't really know what was his deal anymore. His voice pulled her out of her musings again.

“I can carry you to the top if you’re scared so much” he offered.

“I don’t think that will be necessary” she denied politely and reached for her hood to put on. But she wasn’t meant to do so, as he just scooped her into his arms and started jumping from tree to tree like a goat in the mountains.

“No! Beast Boy, stop!” she shrieked terrified. He stopped immediately. “Put me down, you idiot!”

“You prefer piggy back ride?” he smiled.

“No, I prefer going on my own.”

“I thought you were scared of falling down?” he recalled with both eyebrows raised.

“Not as much as I fear your jumping or driving skills.”

“Hey! I’m a good driver!” he defended himself.

“You’re a madman behind the wheel!”

Beast Boy let out an exasperated sigh. “Fine! I agree, I admit to everything! But we have no time! The sun is starting to set again, and all of this because you’re too stubborn!”

I’m too stubborn?” she repeated incredulously.

“Fine, didn’t say anything.“ He waved his hands on her. “Just let me take you to the highest point in my eyesight and then you can climb down on your own. Deal?”

She wondered for a while, then gave up. “Fine, take me to the top.” Beast Boy looked up to the sky and mouthed ‘thank you’. “Just please don’t drop me” she asked when he let her climb on his back.

“Oh, Rae” he said tenderly. She blushed again. How did he do that silky voice? “I would never drop you.” And then he began to climb up. She tightened her grip on him and he stopped. “Rae, you’re strangling…” he uttered. Just then she realized she had been holding him on his throat, not on his chest.

“Sorry” she said shyly and rearranged her grip.

“Rae, I’m tired and hungry, but I won’t drop you, I promise” he said as reassuringly as he could. Why he wanted to reassure her so badly was beyond her. But it was nice nonetheless.

He jumped and walked on the pixel trees, higher and higher until he saw the tip of the small mountain he was aiming for.
“We’re here” he stated and let her slide down on his back to the solid ground. Her legs were wobbly and she had to hold onto his arm to not to fall.

“Great, do you see anything?” she asked. He murmured something unintelligible and looked around.

“Mmmm nope.”

“So we were climbing here for nothing?” she asked, already annoyed.

“Not necessarily. You see that mountain over there? With that waterfall?”

“Yeah, what about it?” she cocked her eyebrow.

“I think that’s our next point. From there we might see some other islands.”

“So, another climbing?” she asked.

“Yep.”

“Oh Azar, why?” she whined. Beast Boy chuckled. “What are you laughing at?” she spat.

“That you’re grouching like every normal girl on hiking.”

“I’m not like every normal girl and you know it” she said defensively.

“Well, not now. Now you’re about as normal as any other girl. You get scared and tired and you’re grouchy. Normal girl.” He shrugged and then chuckled upon seeing her face. “Ok, I’ll shut up.” He put his hands up in mock surrender.

“Thank you.”

“I just don’t get why you insist on you being different from people when you actually aren’t all that different.” She looked daggers at him and he gulped.

“You promised to shut up.”

“Fine.” He rolled his eyes. “Now we’ve got to build our four walls again.”

They both sighed. Beast Boy put his first trunk on the ground. And then his stomach growled menacingly.
“Duude, I’m hungry!” he growled himself and hit the trunk so hard… it turned into pixel planks. “Duuude...”

“How did you do that?” Raven asked, astonished.

“No idea” he said, still a little shocked. “Normally you need that, uh…. work-table-thingy to make anything. I just hit it really hard. Must be some bug….” He wondered for a few seconds. “I’ll try on another one.” Raven sighed.

Beast Boy was trying and succeeding while Raven tried to contact with the team, to no avail. When Beast Boy finished turning trunks to planks they started to build something that resembled a cottage. It was empty inside, and had no door or windows, but hey, it was cosy.
“I gotta get some sand and make some windows somehow…” Beast Boy mused.

“I have no clue what is going on with this communicator” Raven said. “I can’t reach anyone.”

“Here, try mine.” Beast Boy passed her his communicator, while he was still wondering.

“Out of reach. Unbelievable.” Raven gave him his communicator back.

“Do you think if I would hit the planks hard enough I would make the door?”

Raven was looking at him as if he lost his mind. “What?” she uttered.

“You see, usually in Minecraft you have that thing that let's you modify and make other things.”

“The thing?” she cocked her eyebrow.

“Yeah. And then you get to make the work-table-thingy, and there’s the whole Minecraft story.”

“The thing and the thingy?” He nodded vigorously. “I see.”

“You do?” he asked hopefully.

“You’re an idiot.” His shoulders slumped. If he had his pointy ears they would slump too.

Cyborg was sitting by his furnace, eating pork. Yes, he managed to survive. After losing the creeper he decided to light a fire, but since he was in Minecraft he knew he had to make some house for himself, get something to eat and probably build some kind of a tower to make his friends find him. God, he hoped they were here too. If not, he was doomed. He remembered them all being swallowed by that weird white light, so the chances were big that the rest of the team was stuck here too. Anyways, he also needed fire to scare the skeletons and zombies and creepers away. And to make fire he needed a torch. At least one. So he cut the trees with the arrows he got after getting rid of that skeleton. He then built the crafting table and began to work on his plan. He made a furnace and he hunted down a few pigs and chickens. Oh lord, was it hard to get the chickens! But he managed, and he was now eating as much as he wanted. Ok, maybe not so much, he had to leave something for the next day. He would build the tower starting tomorrow. Now it was getting dark, and he was really tired after chasing the chickens. He yawned and lied down on his wooden floor. He’s gonna find some sheep to make a bed. Tomorrow, he’ll find a sheep, make a bed, and build a tower.

Somewhere in the Minecraft where the Titans were trapped, a man appeared in the water. He swam to the shore and climbed on it.

~...~
Whos that?
who's that?
    dunno, some new guy
but good or bad? looks bad QAQ
who is he?
friend or foe?
who's he?
OMG WHO THE DUCK IS IT???!!!
I don't like him, looks suspicious.

~...~

“Couldn’t you drop me somewhere else?” he asked no one. He was definitely angry. “Give me a map” the man said. Suddenly a piece of paper appeared in his hand. He glanced at it but scowled a second later. “I need indicators of them.”

He stated it so bluntly as if it was common knowledge. A minute later the dark haired man looked at his new map again. This time he saw five red dots on in. Two on the white island, one somewhere in the woods, on another island, and the last two, on the same island he currently was on. A spark of satisfaction glistened in his eyes black as coals.

“Just perfect.” He smiled roguishly.

Meanwhile, in the real life world Control Freak was having the best fun, reading comments under his livestream.
'Nooo, Starfire, don't cryyy! QAQ Give her her powers back!!!!'

He chuckled at this one. "She needs to take them back, my friend."

'Oooh, Raven and BB. shipping hard <3'
'Poor Cyborg totally naked in minecraft. But he's still kickin' it out there :D'
'Is it just me or Raven is adorable?'
'Don't know 'bout adorable, look at the damn legs! Wuff!'
'LoL Cyborg! Just.... Cyborg XD'
'OMG Cy! :D'
'I don't f*cking believe it! Star and Robin! :O'
'I have a feeling they don't know we're watching them...'

That one caught his attention. He chuckled and typed an answer. 'That's because they don't. My goal was to expose them, I wanted them to act natural.'

Few seconds later a reply for his comment came. 'So cruel.'

"Why, yes. Thank you for noticing" he said, not bothering to type. He was satisfied with is work. He managed to improve his remote, create his own set of games, just for the Titans and catch them in his trap. He slurped on his soda while another comment appeared.

'Who's the new guy? Doesn't seem good. Is he some new villain in the city?'

Control Freak began typing a reply. 'He had some business with them so I let him in. Thought it would be more fun >:3'

He laughed maniacally and rubbed his hands.
"We'll see the Titans in action a little sooner than planned."
Yeah, boring. Sorry to disappoint you. I really hope it's readable at least. Tried my best, but my writing isn't all that interesting. Or maybe I'm just bad at writing in English. Either way, I'm bad -.-"

Edit Dec 2016: this chapter is remastered. I'm fitting the whole story after The Titans Trade (relevant chapters: Q&A#20 and The Titans Trade)
